Following the tradition established by the Hungarian Embassy in Latvia during its Chairmanship (2015-2016) of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) , this year the Romanian Embassy, as the current Chairman, is coordinating the events for International Holocaust Commemoration Day of 27 January in Riga. Two Hungarian holocaust related movies are included into the programme one by the Swiss Embassy and the other by the Spanish Embassy in Riga.
