It was a pleasure and an honour that on February 13, our Embassy participated in the book donation event called Draudzīgais aicinājums (Friendly Invitation) for Latvian primary and secondary schools already for the third time. This year, we donated packages of English-language books about Hungary. These included travel guides about Budapest, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, cookbooks with Hungarian recipes, books presenting our magnificent Parliament Building, as well as 19th-century travelogues and collections of essays analysing 21st-century socio-political debates. We hope that each of them will find interested readers.
