On October 22, our Embassy commemorated the anniversary of the 1956 revolution and war of independence in the festive hall of the Riga Museum for History and Navigation. Following the ambassador's ceremonial speech, Junior Prima, Gramophone and Artisjus awards winner Áron Tálas gave a highly successful piano concert, featuring mainly his own compositions based on folk song arrangements. We concluded the evening with a reception.
