On November 12–13, the Embassy of Hungary in Riga hosted the latest stage of the Hungarian Food Business Program of the Agricultural Marketing Centre. Fifteen Hungarian food industry companies presented themselves to a Latvian professional audience. The first day was spent learning about the Latvian food market, retail trends, and the business environment, while on November 13, targeted B2B meetings were held, attended by numerous local distributors, retail chains, and catering industry players. Based on the feedback, Hungarian products were seen as exciting novelties by Latvian partners, and several promising business relationships were established. We are confident that this journey will not end here, and that we will soon see the products of these excellent Hungarian companies on the shelves of Latvian supermarkets.
